Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering Department is established in the year 1983-84 with intake of 60 students. The Civil Engineering Department has excellent infrastructure, highly qualified and senior faculty members. The department has fallowing labs.
- Engineering Mechanics Lab.
- Testing of Material Lab.
- Concrete Technology & Soil Mechanics Lab.
- Hydraulics Lab.
- Survey Lab.
- Structural Computer Aided Design & Drafting Lab.
- Model Lab.
The department obtained a grant of Rs 9.00 lakh under MODROBS scheme of AICTE for the development of “SCADD (Structural Computer Aided Design & Drafting) Center” in April-1999.
The department has latest software like AutoCAD, Road Master, Estimating & Costing, Studd Analysis in our SCADD center. Department conducts training programs on these softwares and other certificate courses.
The department has A1 size plotter, Automatic Universal Testing Machine, Compressive Testing Machine (200 KN Capacity). Digital Auto Levels, One second Theodolite Digital Planimeter etc. Good number of STTP, workshop & paper presentation are organized for techers & students. The department has students associations CESA ( Civil Engineering Students Association) to conduct co-curricular activities.
Department of civil engineering organized a staff training programme sponsored by MSBTE on “ Microsoft Project Planning Software” under the guidance of respected Prof.V.B.Dhumal Principal of institute with coordination of Prof. A.D. Hamigi H.O.D. Civil Engg. & co-coordination of Er. S.S. Mandlik. & other faculty members of Civil Engineering Department, betwwen 8th to 12th January 2007. M.S. Project is comprehensive planning software that covers all aspects of project planning. This software can do scheduling of activity, assigning resources and cost, reviewing and distributing the project tracking and analyzing the progress, Coordinating the project and shearing data.

- Sardar Sarover project, Gujrat.
- Nilwande Dam, Akole.
- Diversion headwork Ozar.
- Water Supply & Sewage Treatment Plant, Kolhapur.
- Water Supply & Sewage Treatment Plant, Surat Gujrat.
- Water Supply & Sewage Treatment Plant, Nasik.
